Tuesday, June 30, 2009 - Horizons BetaPro ETFs Opens the Market
Howard Atkinson, President, Horizons BetaPro ETFs and Lewis Bateman, Managing Director, Horizons BetaPro ETFs, opened the market today to celebrate the listing of two new Exchange Traded Funds: Horizons BetaPro COMEX Silver Bull Plus ETF (HZU) and Horizons BetaPro COMEX Silver Bear Plus ETF (HZD). Each ETF is designed to provide daily investment results, before fees and expenses that correspond to double the daily performance, or double the inverse daily performance, respectively, of their specified underlying index or benchmark. Horizons BetaPro ETFs are managed by BetaPro Management Inc. a subsidiary of Jovian Capital Corporation. BetaPro Management currently has 39 ETFs listed on Toronto Stock Exchange and is the largest ETF provider by number on the Exchange.
