TSX technology companies raised $38.9 million in equity capital in the first quarter of 2008, and $984.9 million in 2007. Over 1.3 billion technology shares, valued at $20.3 billion, traded on TSX in the first quarter of 2008.
TSX Venture Exchange is home to 217 technology companies with a total market capitalization of over $3.4 billion as of March 31, 2008. TSX Venture technology companies raised $58.6 million in equity capital in the first quarter of 2008, and $670.1 million in 2007. Over 943 million technology shares, valued at $419 million, traded on TSX Venture Exchange in the first quarter of 2008.
