Tuesday, June 30, 2009 - Horizons BetaPro ETFs Opens the Market Howard Atkinson, President, Horizons BetaPro ETFs and Lewis Bateman, Managing Director, Horizons BetaPro ETFs, opened the market today to celebrate the listing of two new Exchange Traded Funds: Horizons BetaPro COMEX Silver Bull Plus ETF (HZU) and Horizons BetaPro COMEX Silver Bear Plus ETF (HZD). Each ETF is designed to provide daily investment results, before fees and expenses that correspond to double the daily performance, or double the inverse daily performance, respectively, of their specified underlying index or benchmark. Horizons BetaPro ETFs are managed by BetaPro Management Inc. a subsidiary of Jovian Capital Corporation. BetaPro Management currently has 39 ETFs listed on Toronto Stock Exchange and is the largest ETF provider by number on the Exchange. |

Monday, June 29, 2009 - Liuyang Fireworks Ltd. Opens the Market Mingyue Hu, Chairman, Liuyang Fireworks Ltd. opened the market today. Liuyang Fireworks Ltd. was founded in 2009, through a sino-foreign joint venture formed by Far Ocean Fireworks Ltd., Liuyang Far Ocean Fireworks Manufacturing & Displaying Co. Ltd., Liuyang Far Ocean Printing Co. Ltd. and East Asia Industrial Limited. Liuyang Fireworks is the first overseas listing for the Chinese Fireworks industry and is also the first listing on TMX equity exchanges from Hunan Province, China. Liuyang Fireworks Ltd. trades on TSX Venture Exchange under the stock symbol FWK. |

Friday, June 26, 2009 - BGI Canada Limited Opens the Market Oliver McMahon, Director of Product Management, BGI Canada Limited opened the market today to launch two new ETFs: iShares CDN MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund (XWD) and iShares CDN MSCI World Index Fund (XEM). Barclays Canada currently has 31 ETFs listed on Toronto Stock Exchange and is the largest ETF provider on the Exchange by market capitalization and 2nd largest by number of funds. |

TSX Venture Exchange Welcomes New Alberta Issuers TSX Venture Sr. Vice President John McCoach and Roy Homyshin, Director, welcomed 20 Alberta companies to the market Thursday, June 11, 2009. The 20 Alberta companies began trading on TSX Venture Exchange between November of 2008 and April of this year. There have been 68 companies listed on TSX Venture Exchange in the first five months of 2009, 14 or 21% of which are based in Alberta. John McCoach said "the Exchange recognizes that the economic turmoil and market volatility since last summer has had an impact on the number of new listings; however, we have definitely seen increased activity in the last few months in the number of new listings and financings." |

The 41 B.C. companies began trading on TSX Venture Exchange between November of 2008 and April of this year. There have been 68 companies listed on TSX Venture Exchange in the first five months of 2009, 27 or 40% of which are based in British Columbia. Monday, June 15, 2009 - Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers Opens the Market Brad Herald, Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), opened the market today in celebration of the kick off of CAPP's 20th Annual Oil and Gas Investment Symposium in Calgary. Attendees at the Calgary Symposium joined in the market open via a real time video link. CAPP represents 130 companies that produce more than 90 percent of Canada's natural gas and crude oil. CAPP also has 150 associate members that provide a wide range of services that support the upstream crude and natural gas industry. Jeremy Pirotta opened the market in memory of his brother Stephen, who received many units of blood while battling leukemia. Canadian Blood Services is a not-for-profit charitable organization that manages the supply of blood and blood products, oversees the OneMatch Stem Cell and Marrow Network, and provides national leadership for organ and tissue donation and transplantation. Thursday, June 4, 2009 - Sears National Kids Cancer Ride Opens the Market The Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation opened the market today to launch the second annual Sears National Kids Cancer Ride. The 7,000 kilometer ride hopes to raise $2 million to be used to improve the lives of children living with and beyond childhood cancer. Organized by the volunteer-based foundation Coast to Coast Against Cancer, and with the generous support of corporate sponsors, the Event returns 100% of funds raised from donations back to the childhood cancer charities supported by the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride. |
