Troy Resources NL To Trade On Toronto Stock Exchange

Troy Resources NL (the “Company”) – An application has been granted for the original listing in the Mining category of 70,775,862 ordinary shares of the Company, of which 60,314,783 ordinary shares are issued and outstanding, and 10,461,079 ordinary shares are reserved for issuance.

The ordinary shares of the Company will be listed and posted for trading at the opening on Friday, January 25, 2008.

The Company is subject to the reporting requirements of Section 501 of the TSX Company Manual.

Incorporation: The Company was incorporated under the predecessor to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)(Australia) on February 28, 1984 as “Thirty Eighth Ravine Pty Ltd.”. The Company changed its name to “Troy Resources Limited” and became a public company on April 4, 1986. On February 25, 1991 the name of the Company was changed to “Troy Resources NL”.

Nature of Business: The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of mineral properties in Brazil, Australia, and Mongolia.
