Protox Therapeutics Inc. (the "Company") - An application has been granted for the original listing in the Industrial category of 86,323,858 common shares of the Company, of which 68,505,433 common shares are issued and outstanding, and 17,818,425 common shares are reserved for issuance.
The common shares of the Company will be listed and posted for trading at the opening on Monday, February 4, 2008.
The Company is subject to the reporting requirements of Section 501 of the TSX Company Manual.

Incorporation: The Company was formed on May 20, 2003 under the predecessor to the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) by the amalgamation of Stratos Biotechnologies Inc., Nucleus BioScience Inc. and Brightwave Ventures Inc. under the name SNB Capital Corp. as a capital pool company pursuant to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange. Pursuant to a plan of arrangement completed on July 9, 2004, the Company acquired all of the outstanding shares of Protox Pharmaceuticals Inc. ("Protox Pharma") and changed its name to "Protox Therapeutics Inc.". Protox Pharma was incorporated on January 11, 2002.

Nature of Business: The Company uses genetic engineering to transform naturally occurring proteins into novel targeted therapeutics for the treatment of various cancers and other proliferative diseases. The Company is advancing a pipeline of clinical-stage product candidates and its lead drugs currently in clinical development include PRX321 for primary brain cancer and PRX302 for the treatment of localized prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH, commonly known as enlarged prostate).

Dividends: The Company has not paid any dividends or made any distributions since incorporation. The Company does not anticipate paying dividends in the foreseeable future.
