APRIL 23, 2008 (TORONTO) – TSX Group Inc. has finalized the schedule for the migration of Toronto Stock Exchange symbols to TSX Quantum. Thirty-six symbols currently trade on the new engine, and the remainder will be added by the end of the month. The migration will begin on May 9, 2008 with the next set of symbols to begin trading May 12, 2008:

Thomas Kalafatis, Vice President, Sales and Product Development for TSX Markets, is pleased with implementation of the new technology. “While the rollout of a new trading engine is complex, we are proud of both our time-to-market and the benefits of the new platform.” TSX Quantum was designed in-house, in contrast to the technology employed by competing marketplaces.
