TMX Group welcomed RBC Dominion Securities and their Investment Advisors to the third annual TSX Connects event to hear from 5 TSX-listed issuers.

TSX Connects is a fairly new initiative within the Corporate Access Program that serves as a platform to connect issuers with some of the largest Wealth Management advisors in Canada.

RBC's advisors heard directly from the following companies and their respective executives:

  • GFL Environmental Inc. - Patrick Dovigi, Founder & CEO
  • BCE Inc. - Curtis Millen, CFO
  • Bombardier Inc. - Bart Demosky, Executive VP & CFO

Since CIRI's last Backgrounder on this topic in February 2025, the pace of new developments in the area of ESG standards and regulatory disclosure has slowed. The most significant development has been the cessation of all progress by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission toward the development of climate disclosure rules for listed companies.
