TSX has proudly partnered with the Josef Schachter ‘Catch the Energy Conference' since 2019. This year's conference, held on October 18, 2025, in Calgary, was an overwhelming success, featuring over 30 TSX and TSX Venture listed companies in the energy, cleantech, and critical materials sectors.

The event kicked off with opening remarks from Robert Peterman, Chief Commercial Officer, Toronto Stock Exchange. We were also delighted to host a remote market close ceremony in Calgary to celebrate the conference.

Canadian securities regulators propose semi-annual financial reporting pilot

The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) announced a proposed multi-year pilot to allow eligible venture issuers to voluntarily adopt semi-annual financial reporting (the SAR Pilot). The SAR Pilot would provide an exemption for certain venture issuers listed on the TSX Venture Exchange Inc. (TSXV) or the CNSX Markets Inc. (CSE) from the requirement to file first and third quarter financial reports under National Instrument 51-102 Continuous Disclosure Obligations.

SEDAR+ Fee Increase 2025: System Fees to Rise 60% This November

If your company files on SEDAR+, it’s time to prepare for the SEDAR+ fee increase 2025, a significant adjustment approved by the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA). The five-year plan will raise SEDAR+ system fees, with the first and largest jump taking effect on November 28, 2025.
