Provide Dark Liquidity Order Type Update
TMX Equities is advising clients that effective October 26, 2022, the Provide Dark Liquidity ('PDL') order type will be temporarily disabled. This is a result of a specific order interaction behavior not working as designed for active PDL orders.
Orders sent to TSX or TSXV with 7731=4 or 7713=XM will be rejected.
A further update will be provided detailing when the PDL order type will be re-enabled.
