TMX Equities Announces Fees for New Alpha Classic Dark Trading Functionality
TMX Equities is advising clients that the trading fee schedule for TSX Alpha Exchange ("Alpha Classic") will be amended to introduce fees for undisplayed (or "dark") trade types effective July 20, 2026, as described in Notices 2026-007 and 2026-016.
Per-share fees for dark trade types will be as follows:
| Trade price < $1.00 | Trade price ≥ $1.00 | |
| Removing Dark Liquidity | $0 | $0 |
| Providing Dark Liquidity | $0.0002 | $0.0004 |
Fees for providing and removing displayed liquidity, including removing displayed liquidity with dark orders, will remain unchanged.
