FINAL REMINDER: Introduction of Dark Orders on Alpha Classic
TMX Market Operations would like to remind all clients of the upcoming implementation of the proposed amendments to introduce certain undisplayed (or "dark") order types on Alpha Classic (as defined below), as described in Equities Notice 2026-007.
As a reminder, Alpha is comprised of the TSX Alpha Exchange ("Alpha Classic"), Alpha X, and Alpha DRK order books. The amendments will be introduced into the Alpha Classic order book only, and will be distinct from the operation of Alpha DRK (Alpha's non-visible or "dark" order book), which operates on a stand-alone dark book.
The amendments will be implemented on Monday, July 20, 2026.

The amendments are currently available in our Gateway Testing Environment.
