TMX IP Feed Change: Tradelogiq Markets Inc.
Attention TMX IP Customers
Further to the Tradelogiq Markets Inc. announcement, the marketplace plans to introduce a change by increasing the length of "Stock" field from 10 characters to 24 characters to their Stock Directory and Extended Stock Directory messages for future expansion.
TMX Information Processor business content messages are formatted using the TMX STAMP protocol syntax, and the symbol length is currently configured to disseminate up to a maximum of 17 characters for Fieldidentifier = 55 (Symbol).
To accommodate the marketplace change, minimize the impact on TMX IP clients, and to continue to normalize the marketplace message with the TMX STAMP protocol standard, the TMX IP team will take the approach of NOT passing through the 24-character symbol from Tradelogiq. Consequently, symbols exceeding the 17-character limit will be truncated on TMX IP feeds effective September 18, 2026.
No configuration changes are required from the TMX IP client perspective on the Tradelogiq and Lynx change.
Note that there are no changes to the TMX IP feeds specifications. The latest versions of specifications are available on the TMX Webstore.
