Introducing Alpha Short Recovery Services
TMX Equities is pleased to announce enhancements to our TSX Alpha Exchange ("Alpha") market data services, by making available short recovery to the following Alpha feeds, effective December 1st, 2025.
TSX Alpha Broadcast Feed (ABF)
TSX Alpha QRMTD Level 2 Feed (AL2)
TSX Alpha QuantumFeed (Binary) Level 2 Feed (AQL2)
Alpha short recovery offers the same mechanisms as the existing TBF, TL2, and TQL2 short recovery services, allowing the client to perform faster message recovery up to the last rolling one million messages. There are no changes to all existing Alpha recovery session credentials and behavior. All existing ABF, AL2, and AQL2 recovery sessions will continue to behave as long recovery, which allows the client to request recovery for all messages back to sequence #1 for the current trading session.
Alpha short recovery is now available on the TSX Alpha General Test Environment (GTE). To request the new GTE and Production Alpha short recovery sessions, please contact TMX Market Operations
